WARNING.
for those wondering why i have been missing from blogosphere. its because i have been uber busy with work.
i shall blog everything in detail that happened the past 5 days.
wednesday: i believed i blogged about it in detail already. scroll down.
thursday: blogged about it too if im not wrong. it was a 8am - 7pm day for me. woke up at 6.30am. 160 bangala + china workers came in on that day to help. and we became supervisors. just that once in a while we still have to do work. followed by 7pm - 11pm at changi airport.
friday: same again. 6.30am wake up. work frm 8am - around 8am. the same 160 bangala and china workers were around. and seriously, the bangala workers are ALOT better. i prefer them over the china workers.
china worker's attitudes suck. and they always try to eat snake aka jia chua aka hide 1 corner and be lazy/do work slowly.
during work dirtied ONE OF MY FAV THREADLESS SHIRTS with red paint! DAMMIT! dont think can come out already. @#%$@#$.
after work headed down to orchard to join CG for KTV. waste time and money honestly. you can say i went down for obligation/support.
saturday: IMBA day. woke up at 6.40am. reached at 8am. it was raining for a while so that was nice. laying back on the couch meant for the V.I.Ps in sentosa while it was raining.
50 bangala's came to help to some finishing touches. worked til 4am! before slping at a hotel room rented by the company. had to share bed but better than nothing lah.
had to wear same clothes loh! besides the tshirt as have to wear the event tshirt. dam disgusting. but at least can bathe.
oh yah, saturday was also the day the guiness world record and singapore book of record people came. and was confirmed the record was set! so we took a group pic together with the 10 of us and the project team. although in official photos we're not inside as we're not involved with the planning and stuff.
but unofficially, the team consists of us. the people down there setting up the whole darn thing!
sunday: slept for 1 hr 30 min only before having to wake up. went down to do some final final stuff before reporting in. at first i was allocated the F&B. but in the end, there was enough people and since another supervisor needed me for the luckydraw area. i was pulled over.
IT WAS A GOOD THING DEFINATELY. F & B area was SUPER CROWDED. imagine like 15,000 bangalas mobbing. LOL. i seriously wanted to try out the games and food. BUT AFTER SEEING ALL THE BANGALAS. i decided to give it a miss. LOL.
helping out with the lucky draw was VERY nice. it was just me and another supervisor. she's easy to talk to and no 'air' of arrogance at all. dont get me wrong. she aint my type and alot older thats for sure. LOL. but it was a ease to mend the luckydraw area with her.
during the whole event i had to walk frm 1 end to another a few times to get the lucky draw stuff. tiring but alright.
SUPERRRRRRRRR HOTTTTTTT DAYYYYYYYYYYY. one of the hottest day in my LIFE. i had to go to the pavillion area just so i can stand infront of 1 of the mist fans. IT WAS THAT BAD. even sitting still hoping for the wind to blow under the shade is NOT ENOUGH.
Overall: it was a good event. and very MEMORABLE. i will NEVER forget this 5 days. all that shit. all that sweat. and yet having some fun parts.
Aqquitances: moving on to this segment. i put this individually because its really ALOT of people. some of which i will kind of miss. some of which i am FREAKING HAPPY TO GET RID OF.
gary - the project manager of this project. was around with us all the way. he's darn good. no 'air' of arrogance at all. and he evens get down and dirty with us. gains respect in that sense i suppose. willing to do the work himself. he drives us in to sentosa frm st james. saves $$ and time too.
ken - part of the project team. around since day one. but i guess he's more on the HR side. hardly see him.
ray - kind of like our cordinator. not much comments on him. he didnt leave any good impressions. but none bad enough for me to condem him either.
cynthia - part of the project team too. came on only on saturday. assisted her in setting up some stuff frm 1.45am - 4am. she's the one i did the luckydraw thing with too. now this is someone who left me a very good impression as well. easy to talk to. no 'air' of arrogance. makes things alot more relaxing and enjoyable.
melissa - part of project team. eye candy. LOL.
celine - part of project team. eye candy. LOL.
nicole - part of project team. eye candy. LOL.
joanne - part of project team. eye candy. LOL.
juwy - the guy in charge of lucky draw hired by another company. i think he's dam cool seriously. he's in charge of the lucky draw, but he went up to perform 2 songs too. he's dam friendly. definitely the type who makes friends fast. when i came. he intro-ed. when i left, he thanked me. i mean... he didnt have to. it was my job for that day. super nice dude.
charles - part of the project team. only a few small conversations with him. but impression left behind by him was not bad.
andrea - part of the project team. only a few small conversations with him. but impression left behind by him was not bad.
a whole bunch of other aqquitances working as part time - some of which i think are nice. ok fine. i only think 6 are nice. out of 10. the rest are either dogs or... i dont know. they're just totally screwed up.
so thats it. i will miss some of them. and i will be happy some of them are gone.
