A farmer found a rare silver feathered bird one day.it was badly injured, and so he took it home, with the intention of taking care of it till it recovers.

everyday, the silver bird would sing with its sweetest voice,leaving the farmer deeply enchanted by it.

One day,the farmer's friend told him about a golden feathered bird,gushing about the beauty and the sweetest voice.thoughts of the golden bird then occupied the farmer's mind totally,forgetting all about the silver bird.All he could think about was the golden bird,where and when wld it appear,how can he get hold of it.

The silver bird sang to the farmer everyday as usual,but it soon realised that it had lost the farmer's fancy,as he would no longer look at the bird with captivation nor would he listen and appreciate the singing.

It never gave up for a long time.everyday, it'll continue singing for the farmer.then came one day,it fully recovered from its injury,but the farmer merely looked at the silver bird and sighed,
"no matter how beautiful you look, or how sweet you sing, you can never be compared to the golden bird."

The bird then sang for the farmer one last time,before flying 3 rounds around the farmer as a way of bidding goodbye.It flew towards the setting sun, finally taking its leave.

The farmer gazed at the bird he took care of as it took off,while the silver bird glistened and turned golden under the sunshine.It was only then that the farmer finally came to a realisation that the golden bird he had been waiting for,had always been by his side.
