THOUGHT.

well its 5am and im still awake. and a thought just hit me.

i was thinking about the friends and people we meet. what determines that?

just like when you see the friends rich people have. huge majority are rich too.

or when you see lowly educated people. they're friends are mostly the same.

or like when you meet smart ass geeks. they're surrounded by the same kinda people too.

and it just dawned upon me that our personality, lifestyle, background that attracts these people to us.

they way we are brought up. the type of education we have. the different things that interest us. the families we are born in. the way we react to situations.

so true... that it is close to impossible to break out of the social order and cycle of things. it has been predetermined ever since we were born.

those who were born rich with caring parents would end up in some top grade primary sch through their parents money and influence. and frm there they would make more frens of the same sort and get all the educational help they need and things they want.

and frm there they would probably enter another good secondary sch and so on and so forth.

and even if they dont make it at the end, theres always $$ for overseas studies and universities.

and i guess this cycle works vice versa as well.

ahhh what a scary thought but true.

so many examples around me already. leaving st hilda's for overseas studies. and are almost completing their degrees already. unlike us still in singapore. the fastest would have just entered uni only. whilst the guys would still be in NS serving their final few months first.
